Turzum dates to the 1860s, established by British planters and later merged with the neighboring Sungma garden after a 1934 earthquake destroyed the Sungma factory. The combined estate sits at elevations between roughly 1,100 and 1,700 meters, cooled by Himalayan mist and fed by heavy monsoon rainfall. That high-altitude terroir, cool nights, rich soil, and slow growth, is what gives Turzum teas their signature aromatic lift and clean, elegant cup.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMoonlight Darjeeling is made from the AV2 cultivar, one of Darjeeling's most celebrated clonal varieties, known for its intense aroma and fruit-forward sweetness.
