Satin Teapot - 20 oz

I love everything about this tea pot! I love the unusual colors - somehow the colors alone make me want to drink more tea. The form is also beautiful enough to keep the pots displayed on the counter.
I also really appreciate the insert - it is large enough to let the tea leaves float and the holes does not let any leaves through into the tea pot. The pour is very easy. I learned not to tilt the pot more than necessary.

I call them (I have two - one in each color) my zen tea pots. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this tea pot, while it worked. I didn't use it daily and I was careful with it. Unfortunately one day when I was using it the metal handle turned a little and that was just enough to cause the ceramic piece holding it in place to crack, and then snap off. If course once that happened the whole metal handle came off and I could no longer use this teapot. I had to throw it away. I did like the teapot while I had it so I'm debating whether to try my luck with a new one.

I have both the blue and pink teapots. I keep one at home, and the other I use in my office. It holds a good amount of tea. The strainer works great at catching the loose tea so it doesn't end up in the pot. I love them!

This little teapot is so thoughtfully designed. It's beautiful and the perfect size for one person. I love the top handle - it allows you to pour hot water into the teapot and immediately carry it to another room, as opposed to a side handle where you have to support the hot teapot directly with your hand when full. The basket is large and the mesh is very fine so tea leaves don't escape. I found the pink to be true to color. The only drawback is that I want the blue one as well!
