Good Tea Overall But A Bit Inconsistent

I'm not too big on black teas, but Darjeeling is variety I do enjoy. However, the consistent issue I run into with Darjeeling is that the quality and flavor can be very inconsistent. Unfortunately, I find that also to be true about Tea Spot's Darjeeling. Some batches I have ordered had large full leaves and great taste. Other batches have been quite dusty and a bit underwhelming flavor wise. However, I will say the had more good batches than bad ones, so I continue to order it here. The flavor is among the better tasting compared to other Darjeeling tea I have had. Overall, I still enjoy it.

Beautifully Astringent, Muscatel Darjeeling

I love darjeeling tea, and this is a beautiful example. It is astringent and has a subtle flavor of grape skins and floral notes. It's exactly what you'd expect from a quality darjeeling. The flavor is airy and bright, unlike a Ceylon or Assam teas. If you've never had darjeeling, expect this to be an enjoyable trip off the beaten path.
