Bolder Breakfast: A surprisingly delicate tea, I feel. The aroma implies a bolder chocolate experience but upon tasting it’s quite mild. It gives a soft, swirling mouthfeel. I might drink this occasionally.
Earl of Grey: Absolutely gorgeous tea. The bergamot is bold. The vanilla and citrus rise and fall opposite each other, creating a new experience in every sip that is 100% enjoyable the entire way through. This is a tea to order again and again.
Mango Tango: Ehh, I wasn’t fond of this. I think it’s the passionfruit. I tend to have an issue with that flavoring. I got a strong, tropical forward fruit with a strong tea base that was then deeply tainted by a medicinal or even plasticky taste followed by dirt.
New Moon Darjeeling: Light, mild tea flavor. Slight fruity notes. Enjoyable.
Morning Mojo: A very lovely, light tea. The tea strength could be a hair stronger but is nice as is. The orange is pleasantly present while the vanilla provides a gentle creaminess. I could drink this all day.
Ceylon Orange Pekoe: This is usually my go-to type of tea but… I’m finding this particular tea to be terribly astringent and lacking any of the notes I’m used to finding, instead being heavy with licorice. I’ve gone through the whole tin altering my brewing of it slightly to see if it’s just a picky batch…some of my second steeps came out pleasant but overall I just found myself trying to mask the harsh bitterness.
I think I'll reorder that Earl of Grey and Morning Mojo.
