It is made from carefully selected tea leaves of the Camellia Sinensis tea plant, using fine, whole leaves with minimal stems, contributing to its superior quality. Despite the name, “Orange Pekoe” refers to the grade of leaf—long and whole—not the flavor.

Grown in the mid-elevation Dimbula region, this tea produced in ideal soil type and climate offers balanced notes of chocolate, mild spice, and subtle citrus notes, with a naturally mellow, slightly sweet finish. Nice Morning Tea

It is smooth with a hint of citrus and that English Breakfast flavor. The smoothness silkens the taste such that it is a delight to sip and have a relaxing morning. Almost zero afterbite. You can drink cup after cup and not grow fur on your teeth like you do with inferior teas. If you are disappointed with what you received, there is one thing you should try. Take your normal amount of loose tea, lightly crush it before adding to your separation method which is hopefully fine meshed, and brew for a maximum of 2 minutes. I steep for 4 minutes uncrushed when I want a certain taste, and I steep lightly crushed for 2 minutes for a more "Lipton" taste. Many in the States are used to that crush and curl taste. The "secret" for good tea is the correct amount at the correct steep time and temperature.

The quality is good. It simply wasn’t the flavor I had hoped for. I am looking for a loose leaf black tea to serve as iced tea. My family are iced tea drinkers and are looking for a new source as our previous stand by has drastically changed for the worse.

This was alright but not as good as I had hoped. The price is more reasonable than some we have tried so I was willing to give it a go.

The service was speedy and friendly. I love the mug I purchased so will DEFINITELY continue doing business with this company. Just won’t be buying this exact tea.

Great Quality Orange Pekoe

I know orange pekoe is seen unfavorably by some tea enthusiasts, but its been my favorite, go-to black tea for years now. I'm not exactly sure what it is about the variety, but I just really enjoy the flavor. I haven't had a Ceylon/Sri Lanka orange pekoe I did not enjoy. Tea Spot's offering in particular is especially tasty. The leaves are fuller and the aroma is very fragrant and soothing which produces a great tasting black tea. I enjoy it hot and iced. The relatively low cost also ensures I enjoy this tea quite often.

I expected leaf of tea : about 3 centimeters it was almost ground, ( from the floor) not even a centimeter , very disappointed
