Ginger Tea, Organic

Stronger than the stuff I was cutting up, food processing, and throwing in the freezer. The taste is among the better I've had and I've been hunting for far too long for fresh ginger. Never thought of getting dehydrated stuff. Hilariously it also works well for cooking since I threw some in a stir fry and it turned out just as well when I used minced frozen stuff. I use it for reflux and post nasal drip and I've been able to not use actual medication like a ppi so long as I'm consistent with ginger tea every night and maintain gerd friendly diets more often than not.

Another favorite added! I alternate this one at night with the turmeric tea, another one I truly enjoy. I have been a customer for a few years and The Tea Spot is wonderful - their customer service has always been super helpful and no better tea is found. Thank you!

Thought I'd write my first review of any of the tea spot teas. This one is deserving of 5 stars. Like many others say, it's the best ginger tea you can buy and I've had many through the years. It seems like the ginger tea that come in powder form are just way too overpowerful and others are so mixed with other ingredients that you lose the ginger zing. 1 tsp is plenty sufficient for most and brew it for a good 10 minutes. It brews a gorgeous golden ale sort of color. A spoonful of honey and lemon works wonders but it's honestly drinkable without. Very pleased and will most definitely purchase again!

This smells so good when I open the bag. I normally use fresh ginger but a lot of the time I end up with too much leftover and it goes to waste. This is great because I don’t have to worry about using up my fresh ginger before it goes bad. Remember, it’s not fresh ginger but it does the job. I like that It’s just straight ginger and I can add my own lemon. My purpose for buying this is to settle my stomach.

This has been my favorite evening tea for some time. I love that it is organic and caffeine-free. I like it with a bit of oatmilk, which perfectly takes the edge off the spice. However, my most recent order of 1-lb loose leaf bag that I just received is of an ENTIRELY different consistency and potency than what this tea usually is, even compared to a recently-purchased 1/4 lb bag. Normally the consistency is small diced-like bits with weight to them, which pack in tightly and pack a punch strength-wise. A little goes a long way. This latest batch is very dry and stringy, more lightweight, and even brewing twice the amount I normally use yields only half the potency/flavor than the usual. Weak. I'm just hoping this is an anomaly and not the new normal!
