This book is both beautiful and educational, explaining the nuances of tea production in such a balanced way that I was never buried in too much detail nor left wanting more. The information gave me a renewed passion for supporting these dedicated and painstaking tea farmers, and inspired to try so many teas that I've never seen before. The four authors' tasting notes were interesting and entertaining, and after reading enough of them, I could see where my own preferences would probably fall, allowing me to prioritize which teas to try next. The back of the book has a list of teas, allowing you to keep track of how many you've tried from the bucket (or teacup?) list. A great gift for any tea lover.
Just received my Everest tumbler and 5 more teas to try. So excited I also got the book. Haven't read the whole book yet but I spent time reading it and this book is excellent. Perfect for my tea journey. Love all the info, well written. If ya like tea you need this book. Thanks Tea Spot, I am a fan of all you do.
