Naturally caffeine-free.

QUICK CONCENTRATE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Steep one tea bag in 16 oz. of 212ºF water for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove and squeeze the tea bag.
  • Add cold water to reach 1/2 gallon (2 quarts or 64 oz.) and serve over ice.

COLD BREW INSTRUCTIONS:

      • Steep 1 bag for 6-10 hours in 1/2 gallon (which is 2 quarts or 64 oz.) of cool water. Remove bag.
      • Serve over ice.

THIS is my morning tea; this is my perfect tea! I love the slight tartness of the hibiscus but also the 'green' refreshing taste of the cucumber mixed with touch of the other flavors. I put one bag in the fridge in a 16 oz. jar and every morning I heat up water, stir in a little sweetener and pour in about 4-6oz of the cold. I top off the 16 oz. and put it back in the fridge for the next day. i can go almost a week on one bag. If I want stronger tea one day, I'll just add more of my cold brew; if less, I put less in. This way I can control the strength, but the semi-tart refreshing taste makes every cell in my body come alive, yet at the same time relaxes me. It seems like cold brewing it brings out the body of the hibiscus and the cool aftertaste of cucumber even when I mix it with regular hot water. Originally, I bought it for the hot summers here in the south as a refreshing alternative to sweet tea, but now it's my no. 1. :)
