Tasting Notes:
We've been searching throughout Yunnan for premium single-serving pu'erh cakes, and finally found a producer whose ripe pu'erh we admired so much that we partnered with them to make our own branded mini tea bricks. Each individual serving of this ripe (shou) pu’erh is pressed into small nest shapes, called “tou cha”, during the accelerated aging process. These are perfect for taking with you on the road or on the trail. When brewed, tuocha tea yields a smooth, full-bodied cup that has the wonderfully rich, dark, and earthy pu'erh taste. We chose these tuochas for their depth and slight sweetness. Each 5g serving is individually wrapped in paper. Remove the wrapper before steeping. This tea retains its bold flavor through 2-3 infusions.
