This special Yunnan Sun Dried Black Tea is also known as Shai Hong, which means "black tea dried in the sun." Unlike other black teas, it is exclusively sun-dried and is handcrafted from leaves harvested from the large leaf Assamica tea plant varietal in the Yunnan mountains. So smooth

Smooth is what I love about this. Sometimes first thing in the morning I want a black tea I would describe as "bracing." Something a little astringent. But other times I love this black tea that tastes so smooth and elegant. I bought the large bag and am enjoying it any time I want.

I got this as an on-sale alternative for my husband, who recently has switched mostly from morning coffee to your organic Assam, which we both enjoy.
What a beauty this is —more floral, still malty, elegant and rounded. No astringency to speak of. It’s the best single source tea I have tried. I had written off Chinese teas before because of what I considered to be pervasive forest floory notes. I am so glad I read your description and tried this one.

Yunnan Sun Dried Black Tea sachets

I love the Yunnan Sun Dried Black Tea. I decided to try the sachets this time and ordered the 50 count. Would not recommend the sachets. The loose tea steeping instructions are to use 1 tsp in 8 oz water, but the sachets have much less than 1 tsp. I have to use 2 sachets per cup to get the full flavor. I still love the tea, but would not order the sachets again.

Great Afternoon Tea👌

Wasn’t sure what to expect from this tea so I only bought a sample. Here I am returning to buy in bulk. This makes a nice full-flavor and slightly tart cup. Perfect with a bit of honey. This is the perfect afternoon tea for me.

Perfect Day surprise !!

This was the most entertaining tea I have had lately it is very complex , hard to describe but it’s bold but very smooth , slight malt but sweet ,nice higher caffeine level and a underlying sweet spice it is a real sleeper doesn’t get a lot of press but this tea is very relaxing makes me take the time to enjoy it , slightly above my pay grade tea wise but well worth it !!
