Bulletproof Matcha Recipe

Bulletproof Matcha Recipe

When you’re looking for a sustained energy lift to get you through your day, reach for a creamy take on bulletproof coffee with our bulletproof matcha. This power-packed breakfast drink recipe is a quick and easy rendition of the traditional Tibetan butter tea or vegan bulletproof tea that we love to make.

Chock full of antioxidant power, 12 ounces of this frothy bulletproof matcha contains roughly the same amount of antioxidants as 5 pounds of blueberries and 30 times the amount of Vitamin C found in green tea! The healthy fats in this hearty breakfast latte help your body burn the calories more evenly over time, which has a stabilizing blood sugar effect, in stark contrast to the spikey energy you’ll get from high-carb (sugar), low-fat beverages. Combine this with the mind-calming qualities of L-theanine, an amino acid that helps create a steady-alertness, and you can conquer the world one sip at a time — You’ve got this!

Side Note: You won’t believe how delicious this vegan bulletproof matcha recipe is. But if you want to go ahead and substitute grass fed butter for the coconut oil in this recipe and use traditional cow’s milk, please go for it and let us know what you think in the comments below. You’ll get the same benefits from your daily matcha dose either way!
