This zesty and luscious salad dressing has just the right amount of tang to sweetness, a great way to dress up any spring greens. The talented Founder and CEO of The Tea Spot, Maria carefully crafted this Matcha Dressing recipe.

Her recommended salad pairing for this dressing includes arugula, roasted beets, mandarin oranges, goat cheese, and a sprinkle of sliced almonds, just to get your wheels turning and your mouth watering.

 

 

Zesty Matcha Salad Dressing

This zesty and luscious salad dressing has just the right amount of tang to sweetness, a great way to dress up any spring greens. 

  • 1 tsp organic matcha
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 TBS honey
  • 1 TBS orange juice
  • 1/2 cup sunflower or grapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp finely minced shallots
  • 1 dash sea salt and ground black pepper
  1. Simply whisk the matcha vigorously for 1 minute in the rice vinegar.
  2. Gradually whisk in the honey and orange juice, then slowly add the oil.
  3. Mix in the shallots and season with sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste.
  4. Enjoy over your favorite mixed green salad or steamed greens!
