Fantastic Green Tea, when you're looking for a lovely cup of green tea that is smooth, not bitter-THIS is your cup.

One of my fave.

It’s rich and flowery. Not like any sencha I’ve tasted. A nice change from the norm and a great price!

Interesting, in a good way

I thought I'd try a different green tea, and this is it. I brewed my first cup hot, and it certainly does have a "green" grassy quality to it. Perhaps I steeped it longer than recommended, but I like it. I'm going to try it cold brewed as well as short steeped.

A great green tea

Some other reviewers talk about a ‘spinach’ aroma or flavor. I know what they mean, but I think they’re a bit off the mark.

While this tea is more floral than Gyokuro, it shares its vegetal flavor that I would describe as “green” or “wheatgrass,” rather than “spinach.” In my experience, this is common with Japanese green teas and isn’t something you get as often with Chinese greens.

This is a delightful Japanese green tea with a flavor profile that is forward enough to drink over ice.
