Heavenly

I am something of a green tea snob and this Jasmine tea has won my allegiance. The flavor is true jasmine, but not overly so. If brewed hot, the aroma is just as enjoyable as the taste. I'm one to burn my tongue on apple cider every.single.fall, so I brew it cold. This tea brews cold equally well. I find the flavor to be consistent hot or cold. If you use the fabulous Everest Tea Tumbler (which I highly recommend), be sure to remove the tea basket after your desired steeping time (10 min for cold is great) because it does get progressively bitter the longer you leave it in. I've spread the used tea leaves out to dry and reused them three times with consistently flavorful results. Enjoy! (and if anyone has a simple, streamlined process for drying used tea leaves, I'm all ears)

The Only Exception

Finding the Tea Spot has been a very rewarding discovery until.....this tea is not up to the set standard. Ive had many different jasmine greens and ordered this thinking how could I go wrong. Not sure if its the harvest, mishandling, or what exactly but it is somewhat unpleasant. Nothing floral at all and honestly kind of musty. Ive tried every variation, iced, hot, more steeping, less, etc. to no avail. Everything I have recieved from the Tea Spot has been exceptional. Im not sure I can live without, Lights Out, Russian Caravan, Boulder Breakfast, Boulder Blues and so on, but from now on Ill be getting my jasmine green elsewhere.

Its Fabulous,but…

This tastes exactly like Jasmine smells. Its not my cup of tea, but if you like the sound of that, this is an absolute winner!

Disappointed

After purchasing this tea by the pound multiple times and loving it, I recieved two pounds of brown tea that smelled nothing of jasmine. Quality control told me all is good and offered 20% to get this, buy more tea! Dont risk your money, find reliable tea companies for the price.
