The tea has an earthy, strong, clean taste and smells amazing. The longer the leaves steep, the stronger the flavor so if you prefer a mild flavor, remove after 5 min or so.

I love that I can keep adding water and it doesn't dilute the flavor. You get 3+ cups of concentrated flavor from a tablespoon of leaves.

My first experience with this tea was with the sachets, and that was pretty good. But I have to say, the loose leaf version is even better! The aroma of this tea alone is incredible, as are the first few steeps (gong fu brewing). This is potent material and will go all day long with 30 sec steeps. I generally only review teas I get excited about, and this is no exception! I have to thank The Tea Spot for investing in the tree that supplies this tea and hope to see it in-stock for a long while.

I like this tea. It is not strong. It seems to be losing its taste over time... maybe it needs to be sealed in a super tight bag (?).

At first the leaves were hard to collect for brewing. I thought they were big & long but brewing surprised me. Great taste for a green tea

Usually when you hear Pu'erh tea you think of the black fermented tea full of flavor and earthyness. This tea is a fermented green tea that has a nice bold flavor that I like to start my day with. Brewed it looks like a fine oolong but offerers a more robust taste. I first ordered it as a taster but quickly ordered a nice supply for my continued enjoyment.
